 FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION - PARTS MANUFACTURER APPROVAL

 In accordance with the provisions of Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFRs) part 21,

Subpart K, we have found that the design data, submitted by Avtek based on Test & Computations, and application letter dated April 19, 2005, meet the airworthiness requirements of the regulations applicable to the products on which the parts are to be installed.  Additionally, it has been determined that Avtek has established the fabrication inspection system required by part 21 § 21.303(h) at 25230 45th Ave S Kent, WA  98032.  Accordingly, Parts Manufacturer Approval (PMA) is hereby granted for production of the replacement parts listed in the enclosed Supplement No. 3.  For Cessna Aircraft Models.

 You are reminded that the provisions of the Federal Aviation Regulations, noted in our PMA letter of approval dated September 5, 2002, also apply to the enclosed PMA Listing-Supplement No. 3.  The enclosed Supplement should be retained with the original PMA Letter as evidence of approval to produce the parts concerned.

Dear Mr. Peter:

This is in response to your letter, dated November 25,2004, requesting Parts Manufacturer Approval (PMA) on AvTek door-seal part number Aero-PMA 1001, which is eligible for installation on the Piper Aircraft Models.

We have reviewed the drawings and data submitted and find they meet the requirements of 14 Code of Federal Regulations 21.303(d)(1). The approval of the design via the PMA supplement along with your application has been forwarded to the Seattle Manufacturing Inspection District Office (MIDO). Production approval will be granted after the validation of your fabrication inspection system, and issuance of the FAA-PMA letter and PMA supplement by the MIDO.
